Writing the Vision — And Living It in Real Time

The Bible tells us in Habakkuk 2:2 to “write the vision and make it plain.”

So in January 2025, that’s exactly what I did.

I created a bingo card for the life I wanted to experience — not someday in the distant future, but right now, in real time. (And don’t come for my misspelling on the card 😭.)

I made a promise to myself:

I would see the world one flight, train ride, or car ride at a time.

There is so much more to life than what we see on our cellphone screens. Wouldn't you agree?

I already had a trip planned with an airline I love, but unfortunately they had several cancellations. With the little free time I have, it started looking like I wouldn’t be able to go anywhere at all. For a moment, I almost decided to stay home.

But then I remembered something important:

I made a promise to myself — and I intend to keep it.

So on a whim this Monday morning, I used my airline miles to book a flight, and decided to head out and celebrate.

Why am I celebrating?

Because Wednesday marks three major milestones in my life:

My mom’s birthday — she would have turned 67. I love and miss you momma!

The official release of my new book, The Odd One Out. (You can order your copy now on my website! I mean, you’re already here reading my blog, so why not support an independent author? I promise my story will bless you in some way.)

Passing my 6-month probation at my part-time job.

God is truly amazing, and saying I’m grateful honestly feels like an understatement.

Now I want to hear from you:

What’s one place you dream of experiencing in real life?

Not just seeing on a screen… but actually standing there, breathing it in, and living the moment.

So tell me:

💛 And celebrate the wins God is writing into your life, too

Sending you love, light and positive vibes,
